I love the rain. The way it smells. The way it sounds. The way it feels.
I love everything about the rain, ok well almost everything- but this is all about what I love about it- not what I don’t love about it.
Come on, let’s go play in the rain!!!
I also love taking pictures in the rain. Rainy day pictures are so fun. They are captured in moments of real life, when the world is fresh and new; when there is nothing else in the world but you and the camera because the rain blocks everything else out. There is no other moment, there is no other time- only now, only this moment. This kiss, this smile, this laugh. Captured forever in the lens. That is my favorite part of rainy day photography.
Unfortunately, in the great city of Las Vegas we have lots of sun and very little rain. So planning a rainy day shoot is very difficult. I also find it difficult to find someone willing to get crazy and wet out in the rain with me and the camera. So, alas most of my rainy day photography dreams are just that- dreams… unless someone is willing to be my guinea pig and come play in the rain with me?
I promise it’ll be fun and so worth it!
